In describing the 5 technologies within the Comparison Center, are there any creative ways to introduce or demonstrate the different technologies? This is a great opportunity to share best practices and learn from one another.
I keep it pretty basic by saying, "All of these technologies offer the support that you need, the difference is mainly comfort. The orange offers a comfort that is not too soft and not too firm. The yellow offers a firmer level of comfort, while the red offers a softer level of comfort. The green is a different tecnology that offers you firmness where you need it and softness where you want it. The blue allows you to personalize your comfort to the level of softness or firmness that you desire."
Well we have to make it simple for the customer to understand. Even though we might know more than the customer that walks through the door. Ex: "If they start with I need a firm mattress." "Well we have these mattresses that have the same firm support in bottom, the only thing that changes will be the comfort feeling on the top.
I also like to keep things simple. I first explain the yellow, orange and red as having the same firm support system with different levels of comfort on top. The yellow is going to offer you a firmer surface, while the orange has the same support with a more cushion surface. And then the red, which you still have the same support as the other two, but is going to offer you the most cushion on top. While I am talking about these differences I like to touch the beds so they are able to visualize the differences as I explain them.
I then introduce the green and the blue as the newer technologies is the industry since most people haven’t bought or shopped for a bed in longer than they would like to admit. The green is going to be temperature and weight sensitive so it’s soft where you want it but stays firm where you need it. The blue is actually personalized for you since all of our needs and wants are different. I will also try to throw in that if they liked the yellow, orange, or red that they can get that in the green and blue, so not only do they get the comfort they like but also the additional benefits from them.
These are great ideas! I also like to keep it simple. I explain to customers that in the red, orange, and yellow section they use the same technology to give you firm back support. They each have a different feel and comfort because of the foams on top. The green contouring beds use cutting edge technology to give you 0 pressive points and the perfect support your body needs. Finally, the blue uses the newest technology to give each person his/her on personilized bed. Alan, Raleigh
